Stripped upper
Seems it will workout well.

Good Upper
Tight but not too tight where the barrel extension inserts. Fits lower well.

Billet upper
You won't find a better deal on a quality upper receiver anywhere. Very nice anodized finish and the machine work is so well done you'll think it's a forged receiver at first glance. Then you'll notice some slight machine marks in a couple of the corners and the absence of a forge mark. Well done and thanks Surplus Ammo!

Fits very will better than the last 4 uppers I have built with. Will be buying again for next AR

Billet Blem?
Blem? Had machine marks around dust door area, I called, had good experience with customer service, kept upper for future build, maybe a beater gun for the hunt property, just not for a Sharps Bros, Overthrow build. Thanks anyway.!

Nice, reasonably priced receiver
It's a good receiver. I used it in my 6.5 Grendel build. But, I could be wrong, but I don't think it's a billet receiver. It looks forged to me. Maybe SAA can set me straight. However, it's still reasonably priced and a good product.
