SAA BILLET AR-15 80% Lower Receiver - Anodized
7075 T6 aluminum billet AR15 lower receiver finished to 80%. No FFL or dealer transfer required.
The magwell is finished and is a closed, winter trigger guard design. Receiver needs the trigger group channel finished. Also additional milling is required in the rear takedown pin pocket.
Another unique design to this billet 80% receiver is the hole for the takedown pin detent and spring is installed from the bottom, similar to the selector detent and spring.
Finally it has a position for a tensioning screw as well (not included).

Good looking lower.
The billet lower looks great, but you will find that it needs the rear takedown pin plunger hole still needs to be drilled out. And the front takedown pin plunger hole was not deep enough nor did it have the small vent hole drilled.
All minor inconveniences actually but other than that, it looks great.
The Mag Well could probably use a little better bevel but I'm not sure if I really want to do that yet. -

Not as cheap as they used to be but still a good value. High quality piece and easy to work with.

Very happy
Just received my lower receiver and I am very happy with it. The details they put into the design really set it above other 80% lowers I’ve seen The only Improvement I could see would be engraving fire and safe. Other then that I’m very impressed with the quality

Best 80% Lower for the Money
I've purchased several 80% lowers and this one is by far the best for the money! There are no visible machining marks in the finish, it's anodized, has the option to add a tensioning screw for the upper and is BILLET 7075. The only way they could make this better is to add fire/safe engravings. Deltateamtactical.com sells this same lower for $75 but it only comes in the raw aluminum finish. Americanmadetactical.com sells anodized 80% billet 7075 lowers with fire/safe engravings for $80 but they don't come with the tensioning scew option and also have many visible machining marks in the finish.
