SAA AR-15 Upper Height (Same Plane) Dual Picatinny Railed Clamp On Gas Block .750"

I've purchased and installed a dozen of these in builds and they are the only same height gas block that I can find at a reasonable price and clamp rather than use set screws to tighten to the barrel. They always seem to ship them out very quickly, but I find the shipping charges to be a bit absurd. I would probably order more AR building supplies from SA if the shipping charges were a bit more inline with actual costs. Your prices on most items are very competitive, but shipping costs often put the true cost per part higher than I can buy them from elsewhere. Overall I enjoy dealing with SA and would recommend to others.

I ordered 2 of these recently for some builds I'm thinking about doing. I have not utilized them as of yet but the workmanship, finish, etc seems to be very good and trial fitting leads me to believe that they will be just fine. Incidentally price was reasonable as were the shipping charges. Delivered in a timely fashion.

The pricing on this piece is excellent. The hole for the gas tube roll pin needed to be drilled in order for the pin to pass through it. Other than that, it works just as intended.

The block itself looked good and fit on the barrel good. However the block was not drilled properly. Had to mill it out a little bit for the gas tube, and no it wasn't the gas tube I tried other gas blocks and gas tubes they all lined up perfectly but this one did not. Did take a few days for them to answer me back on email by then I had already taken care of it. The guy there was super nice though.

good looking machine work and anodize, fit perfect,installed with mid length magpul slimline hand guard. only wish it came with a longer 5/64 roll pin for gas tube, because you have to be very careful to get the 5/16 stock length centered. 1/2 or 5/8 length would be optimal.

Very pleased with this purchase, fits well and seems like a quality product for my purposes. I will be shopping here at Surplus Ammo again.
