H3 (Heavy) Buffer for your carbine, AR15, M4 Standard USGI part for the M4 Carbine. The heavier weight buffer is used to slow down the cycle rate on carbine style AR rifles which helps lengthen receiver life. A heavyweight buffer could potentially increase performance on hotter loads by slowing the cycle rate enough to allow the magazine to ready a new round for the chamber.

Weighted with 3 tungsten weights

great buffer for ar15 pistol

16" mid length, adjustable gas block, m 16 nitride coated bolt. replaced a standard buffer
buffer does seem to calm the movements of the rifle, scope stays on target a bit better

Good buffer seems to hold up well. I just wanted with more weight because my AR pistol was over gassed. The extra bit if weight slowed down the the action a little and did reduce recoil a bit.

H3 buffers are a must have for the bigger caliber ar's. It soften the recoil and helps to them function more consistently.
