SAA Standard A2 Flash Hider & Crush Washer for the AR-15 - .223/5.56
This flash hider is a muzzle attachment for a firearm used to quickly disperse the burning gases emitted from the barrel so as to limit the amount of flash seen by the shooter. The A2 design bird cage flash hider has the lower slots closed (verses the previous design A1 bird cage) to reduce debris kicked up when shooting prone (or damage to sand bags) as well as to help reduce muzzle rise.
NOTE: Not for use with 300AAC/Blackout barrels

Great Muzzle Device
I had a Dragons Head flash hider on my weapon, but I could not get it to group anything as far as bullets suited for a 1:7 twist. So I decided to go to the Mil Spec A2 Birdcage. I put it on and timed it. What a drastic difference. Went from 3" to 4" groups to literally driving tacks at 110 yards. I would recommend this item to anyone having issues with .223/556 accuracy. Nice finish and fit.

Good flash hider.
I put a flash hider on my rifle mostly to protect the crown on the barrel, so this was a cheap way to do it and didn't add any ridiculous weight onto the end. It is steel, so it's heavyish, but if you're worried because it's not made by BCG or Holland & Holland, don't be. It's just a flash hider, and it's been working just fine for me.
