SAA AR-15 450-Bushmaster/458-SOCOM Bolt Assembly - NITRIDE

Good bolt and the price is good.
The only problem was the bolt keeper pin hole is slightly tight.

I bought a 450 Bushmaster upper from the company with a bear. From the first time I tried to chamber a round, it would fail to chamber...it would chew up the rim of the cartridge....and the way it stripped the cartridge from the mag it would cause gouges it the sides of the cases. I came close to sending the upper back, but read in some of the forums that others with these same problems had good results by changing the bolt or changing the entire bolt carrier group. I opted to try just the bolt. I have always been happy with other products I have purchased from SAA so decided to give this a try. The difference this bolt made is like night and day, no more problems with feeding, no more chewed up rims (which as a reloader, makes me very happy), no more gouges in the case, and with this bolt, ejecting the case by hand even feels much smoother. I am extremely happy with this bolt, and my experience with SAA.

They were prompt on addressing my order including shipping. The bolt dropped into the carrier group without issues. I would buy this product again for my next build.

Great product, very quick service

Installed on a carrier (from Brownells i think), it worked just fine, no issues, no failures, no damage to cartridge head. Time will tell how long it will last (450 BM is a hard shooting cartridge).

The stock bolt that came on my 450 upper wouldnt extract spent shells. I purchased a 450 bolt and it fit perfect and cycled the way a AR is supposed to.
This bolt is a nice piece with a fair price.

fit and finish look good . have not had a chance to fire on assembled bcg . customer service has been above and beyond helpful .

Everything fits perfect and to specs.
