SAA 5.56mm Dragon's Head Muzzle Brake / Linear Compensator - GEN I
This advanced Muzzle Brake / Linear Comp. offers a sleek custom look as well as enhancing performance & accuracy. Unlike traditional "muzzle breaks" the SAA Dragon's Head Linear Comp. features five ports facing down range to keep muzzle blast and noise away from the shooter and by-standers. Older, traditional muzzle breaks like the ported or baffle designs direct gases and energy (and noise) back towards the shooter as well as those near the shooter. This is one of the best muzzle brakes we've tested, reducing muzzle rise by keeping recoil directed in-line ("linear" compensator) with the axis of the barrel ("bore axis"). This significantly reduces recoil & muzzle rise for quicker & more accurate follow-up shots. The SAA Dragon's Head also gives a flush look to bull barrels. great break if your not sure what to get or shatter tour wallet!!
I purchased this break be used for my 16" barrel. My cousin had this on his aero precision built pistol (10.5 barrel). It reduces what little recoil the 5.56 has, reduces muzzle rise, sound gas fireball all go down range. Also very accurate with the barrels we have used this break with. One of the best value in muzzle devices and doesn't make you that A-Hole at the range with ignorant side concussion as done other breaks do. You will be very hard pressed to get a better brake for the price point (even with other higher priced points brakes as well)

Keeps noise away from you so you do not constantly need ear plugs and looks bad ass on black hole weaponry barrels!

Not only does this reduce barrel rise an reduce noise significantly it just looks great on my black dawn barrel order this on the suggestion of a buddy an now its the only one for any of my future builds

Back at Last!
I bought one of these a year or so back and fell in love with it! Unfortunately, SAA dropped it for awhile in order to prioritize other products that were in short supply. Now it's back!
The design is really superb for range shooting, in particular because the sound is ported down-range. You will not regret picking a Dragon Head Brake on your AR! -

Installed on my AR 1:7 twist 16" Nitride barrel. Minimal, and I mean minimal muzzle jump. A must for competition shooters.

Simply the best!
I got this muzzle after reading a review online about it and I must say that the review was spot on. I took this out this past weekend and did some comp shooting and it really amazed me. I ended up winning because of this muzzle, I was able to have much quicker follow up shots due to the reduced muzzle jump than any other other muzzle brakes there. It really does reduce muzzle jump, recoil, and sound. The audience also appreciated the reduction in sound.
