    SAA .30 Cal (.308/7.62x51/300AAC/6.8SPC/6.5Creedmoor) Dragon's Head Muzzle Brake / Linear Compensator - GEN I

    This advanced Muzzle Brake / Linear Comp. offers a sleek custom look as well as enhancing performance & accuracy.  Unlike traditional "muzzle breaks" the SAA Dragon's Head Linear Comp. features five ports facing down range to keep muzzle blast and noise away from the shooter and by-standers.  Older, traditional muzzle breaks like the ported or baffle designs direct gases and energy (and noise) back towards the shooter as well as those near the shooter.  This is one of the best muzzle brakes we've tested, reducing muzzle rise by keeping recoil directed in-line ("linear" compensator) with the axis of the barrel ("bore axis").  This significantly reduces recoil & muzzle rise for quicker & more accurate follow-up shots.  The SAA Dragon's Head also gives a flush look to bull barrels.  (Pic:  No, the complete upper isn't included)

      Virtually eliminates muzzle rise in 5.56

      I got the Dragon's Head muzzle break on a complete upper from SAA. The first time I fired at the range I was very pleasantly surprised by the near total elimination of muzzle rise, and I also like the fact that the muzzle report is pushed downrange instead of being allowed out at 90 degrees like mil-spec flash hiders. I liked this device so well I just ordered one for my .308 DPMS LR-308. So far everything I've purchased from SAA has been top quality, with good pricing and quick shipping.

      I currently have one of these on a 15 works great waiting to try it on the 10 expecting good results will update it neccesary.

      I have purchased three of these on three different rifles and they work great . If you're looking for a good muzzle break this is the one to buy projects the blast forward and not to the side of you so it doesn't disrupt shooters on either side will buy again when needed and would recommend to all

      Installed on my 6.8SPC 18" from SAA helps some I can tell some difference. Like the look and added 1/2 " to over all length
