These upper receivers are built to mil-spec & are ready to mount to any mil-spec AR-15 lower receiver. SAA takes pride in the precision craftsmanship & quality components that complete these upper receivers. Fully assembled, includes bolt carrier group & charging handle. Checked for correct head space, test fired & ready to shoot.

Old School !
I am very satisfied with the, SAA 16" 5.56 NATO Troy ALPHA15 Series. I have all ready fried 300 rounds, anb only have had it for about three weeks now.Awesome. I do have a problem with one of the sale person " Greg". I am new with the Troy Alpha 15 series could not get any help or answers on the Troy product. Plus all the u-tube videos that I watched about SSA. They sent a Troy catalog and extras with the sales of a SAA 16" 5.56 NATO Troy ALPHA15 Series. Thanks!

Excellent Upper Package...great options!
I ordered this upper last December 2015. It took me a whole year just to piece together enough shop time to finish milling out my 80% lower. Just got it all together and the SAA upper worked flawlessly. I only put 30 rds through it so far but the fit/finish quality is superb with no malfunction issues out of the gate. I got the 16" Nitride 1:8 barrel with Ni-Bor BCG, 13" Troy Alpha rail and Dragon's Head comp/break. This package is a great solution if you don't want to do the critical gun-smithing portions of an AR-15 build. This was my first AR build and I will probably do the whole thing when I do my .308.

Sweet!
I was looking for a complete upper with a 15" free float rail when I came across this one. The price and options were fantastic. Got it in a week and just got back from the range today. Right out of the box, this baby shot perfect. The Dragon Head Gen2 performed amazing, keeping me on point round after round in rapid fire. 1" or less gropings at 25 yards. Love the look of the Troy Alpha rail. I put this bad boy on my ATI Omni Maxx Hybrid lower, shot 200 rounds of .223s and it performed flawlessly. Plenty of rail space as is, for all my needs. So very pleased with this purchase. Cleaning was a breeze as well with the Nitride BCG. Highly recommend this upper if you are looking to upgrade!

High quality components. No problem issues.
Everything worked flawlessly out of the box. The assembly is solid and the aesthetics are spot on perfect. Mine is using Troy Alpha rail, chrome lined 16" 5.56, NiB BCG and put 150 rounds in one afternoon without a malfunction. I would buy again, without reservation.
