This BX-15 detachable magazine is constructed of polymer with a black finish and has been tested and proven to feed as reliably as the standard BX-1 10-round Ruger rotary magazine. It is compatible with your 10/22 Rifle, SR-22 Rifle, 22 Charger Pistol, .22 LR Ruger American Rimfire Rifle and .22 LR Ruger 77/22 Rifle.
This is the best mag for your 10/22 etc. that takes these kind of mags. If you're in a free state and can have 10+ round mags, these are just the right length for bench shooting or just running around, but definitely for a vehicle when you're out varminting. The 25's hook things, the tens are too flush with the rifle while these 15 rounders are just right, and a bit easier to load than the rotary 10 round, in our opinion.

Magazine Works!
Bought 2 a few years ago. Both had a loose feel when inserted into the firearm.
This one locked in solid. Maybe Ruger "tweaked" it as there were a lot of complaints on various forums of the looseness. No issues so far with FTF that I experienced with the older mags. Even used the same mfg. 22LR ammo to keep things equal. So far so good. -
Just what I wanted!
The BX25 is too awkward looking. The BX10 is too small. The BX15 is the perfect size. Great price, functions perfectly. What more could you want?

Ruger BX15 Mags Perform!
Ordered the Ruger BX15 Mags for my 10-22 Takedown as an alternative to the 25's because while shooting from a sitting position at a table or from prone position its actually easier to rest rifle on shooting bag without interference of longer mag on tabletop.
