Magpul M.B.U.S. Generation II Front & Rear Sight Set MAG247 & MAG248
The new MBUS (Magpul Back-Up Sight) GEN 2 are a low-cost, color injection molded, folding back-up sight set. Black, Flat Dark Earth, Olive Drab Green, Foliage Green.
Front Sight:
The MBUS Front Sight is adjustable for elevation and fits most 1913 Picatinny-railed hand guards, but is specifically tailored to the AR15/M16 platform. Made in U.S.A.
Features
- Impact resistant polymer construction provides light weight and resists operational abuse
- Spring-loaded flip up sight easily activated from either side or by pressing the top
- Detent and spring pressure keeps sight erect but allows for unobstructed folding under impact, etc.
- Clamps to most any MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny/STANAG 4694 railed hand guard and provides the same height-over-bore as standard A2 irons
- Protective wings shield the spring-locking A2 front sight post

NOTE: Cannot be mounted to a railed gas block due to excess heat issues. Front MBUS must be mounted to a railed fore end on the same plane as the receiver rail. Because of this the sight is also not compatible with MOE Hand Guards.
Rear Sight:
The dual aperture MBUS Rear Sight is adjustable for windage and fits most 1913 Picatinny rail equipped weapons, but is specifically tailored to the AR15/M16 platform. Made in U.S.A.

Easy to work with easy to understand probably might look at metal sights still need my red dot first

Typical Magpul Quality. I'm using these as backup to a red dot sight and they are working great.

Solid Product
Magpul is typically top notch stuff, and this stuff certainly doesn't disappoint. This is the third set of Magpul BUIS I have bought for for rifles I have built. I have had high quality electronic sights kick the bucket in the field before from various problems, but never have had to go home early because these BUIS absolutely REFUSE TO NOT WORK.

Just what I needed
Items were as described. For the price I can not complain, all metal sights would be better but these are light weight and very functional. Of course most magpul items are always satisfactory. Items were received in a timely manner, no issues whatsoever with surplus ammo and their ordering process. Would order again.

Surplus Ammo did a great job getting this product shipped out, only took a few days to arrive. Product was wrapped and in perfect condition, haven't shot them yet to see how they perform.
