Black Hole Weaponry Barrels employ the use of 416R, match grade stainless steel. BHW Barrels specialize in Polygonal rifling; The shape of the lands and grooves are based on a circle, so there are no sharp corners or edges for the bullet to conform into. This means there is a tight seal and thus less bullet deformation. This rifling form is unique in its ability to allow the bullet to be centered and fully supported by the barrel’s bore.This arc shaped rifling has long been held in very high regard for its accuracy, increased velocity, reduced gas cutting and ease of cleaning.

BHW barrel
Not sure 3 starts is fair because I haven't completed my build yet. But looking it over, everything seems to be the way it should. Will update once it's finished and I'm able to test for accuracy.

One year and 1000+ rounds down range later
This barrel exceeds expectations. Shooting factory CBC OTM 77gr bullets down this barrel, I average < MOA five shot groups, getting all the way down to 5/8ths inches. Also, confession: I never broke it in, officially. If you're on the fence, just buy it. It's freaking awesome.

The jury's still out!!
Finish was excellent. Mated nicely into a Mil Spec Texas Black Rifle Co. matched upper and lower. Still going through Black Hole's recommended break in, so no info on the accuracy yet, but I'm optimistic!!
I gave it four stars because it took a long time to get here!! -

Great barrel
Built an ar-15 with 18" BHW barrel and added an Adams piston kit to it. I was able to shoot accurately at 200 yards using 5.56 federal 62 grain ammo

Stupid Accurate for a Great Price
I was going to go with an Odin Works barrel for a similar price, but when this went on sale for $208 and came with an upper and free shipping... Yeah.
Just sighted in the rifle today after breaking it in. Shooting clay pigeons (no, they were on the ground, not in the air) from 100 yards at x6 power with PMC 55 gr bullets was a piece of cake. Awesome barrel
After opening the box, I was immediately impressed wit the quality of this barrel. Finished assembly yesterday and test fired last night. Cannot wait to get to the range!
