Black Hole Weaponry Barrels employ the use of 416R, match grade stainless steel. BHW Barrels specialize in Polygonal rifling; The shape of the lands and grooves are based on a circle, so there are no sharp corners or edges for the bullet to conform into. This means there is a tight seal and thus less bullet deformation. This rifling form is unique in its ability to allow the bullet to be centered and fully supported by the barrel’s bore.This arc shaped rifling has long been held in very high regard for its accuracy, increased velocity, reduced gas cutting and ease of cleaning.

Very good barrel
Very happy with the barrel with one exception, the chamber of the barrel was filled with metal shavings. I had to carefully remove them, I expected better than that. I have broke in the barrel and hope to get more rounds through it this coming week. So
far I am happy. -
Can't beat especially for the price and free upper!
Put around 100 rounds through this barrel. So far everything has been great with it and the included upper receiver. I did smooth out the feed ramps bc the rounds seemed to be getting caught up occasionally but very simply done and now no issues whatsoever. If you are in the market I would not hesitate to order one again. Have gotten sub moa accuracy out of it with less than match grade ammo (zq1 turkish made. says on box tested to 1 moa accuracy) Just order it and you will be happy. Hard to beat three shot within a quarter at 100 yds. Happy Shooting!

Top shelf barrel, bargain price
I used one of these in a build over the summer. Now that I have some rounds through it and wearing in and can honestly say its a fantastic shooting barrel.
Using cheaper quality ammo like Hornady training or steel match, or ultramax 52gr HP etc, its honest MOA, step up to some Blackhills 75gr match and its sub MOA. Very impressed for the money into it. -

The best rifling and twist rate combo currently available for 5.56 TAP
This barrel as been the best I've T&E'd so far for the Hornady 5.56 TAP round. Simply put, this round and barrel combo provided true sub-MOA accuracy with the most consistent muzzle velocity I've ever seen, even better that my WOA National Match. I will be buying more of these barrels.
