Black Hole Weaponry Barrels employ the use of 416R, match grade stainless steel. BHW Barrels specialize in Polygonal rifling; The shape of the lands and grooves are based on a circle, so there are no sharp corners or edges for the bullet to conform into. This means there is a tight seal and thus less bullet deformation. This rifling form is unique in its ability to allow the bullet to be centered and fully supported by the barrel’s bore.This arc shaped rifling has long been held in very high regard for its accuracy, increased velocity, reduced gas cutting and ease of cleaning.

Priced this barrel through Black Hole, and was a better deal with SAA! Still need a bolt and will purchase from Black Hole. Have used SAA in the past and always had great service and great products !

Blown away by this barrel
I purchased this barrel because I found it on sale and that it came with a free upper receiver. My hope was to find a barrel that would consistently shoot factory Hornady Ammo well. This barrel has surpassed anything I could expect. My first 3 five shot groups were all Sub MOA with factory SST loads. For some reason it shoots the SSTs better than the Amax but the amax was good too.

I purchased 2 of the 18" 6.5 grendel barrels. The barrels preform great 1/2" MOA @ 100 yards. I'm very impressed with the barrels and service!
