Product Description
Black Hole Weaponry 20" Rifle-Length Stainless Steel 1:11 Polygonal Rifled Barrel - .308 Chamber - DPMS Compatible
Black Hole Weaponry Barrels employ the use of 416R, match grade stainless steel. BHW Barrels specialize in Polygonal rifling; The shape of the lands and grooves are based on a circle, so there are no sharp corners or edges for the bullet to conform into. This means there is a tight seal and thus less bullet deformation. This rifling form is unique in its ability to allow the bullet to be centered and fully supported by the barrel’s bore. This arc shaped rifling has long been held in very high regard for its accuracy, increased velocity, reduced gas cutting and ease of cleaning.

BWH barrel
So far so good, shoots moa with military surplus ammunition, it likes 147grain bullets.

accurate barrel. a little too heavy.
Barrel was purchased for a replacement match barrel. Did not get a chance to check full accuracy potential as i ran 150 rounds through it and then opted for a black hole 16" light profile. Shot 178 hornady eldx moa or a little better. 168 gold medal moa average or better with one 3 shot group sub .500 at 100 yds. The accuracy was as good or better than the shilen it replaced. The weight did not fit my requirements for this rifle, which is my mistake, no fault of the product. Everything else was as advertised. Good price for the possibility of match accuracy.

GR8 Barrels
This is my second one of these - haven't mounted this one yet. The first one I used on a Matrix Aerospace upper/lower. After 50 rounds of M80 military 147s (5 and swab with breakout - repeat) I loaded up some Federal Gold Medal Match and proceeded to cut dime size one hole 5 shot groups (using a lead sled - I'm old and shakey) with boring regularity. Good enough

very good accuracy. My best group is 2.5" at 300 yds with 168 DMK
