Black Hole Weaponry Barrels employ the use of 416R, match grade stainless steel. BHW Barrels specialize in Polygonal rifling; The shape of the lands and grooves are based on a circle, so there are no sharp corners or edges for the bullet to conform into. This means there is a tight seal and thus less bullet deformation. This rifling form is unique in its ability to allow the bullet to be centered and fully supported by the barrel’s bore.This arc shaped rifling has long been held in very high regard for its accuracy, increased velocity, reduced gas cutting and ease of cleaning.

Black Hole Weaponry barrels
Fit and finish are perfect. I haven't finished the build yet but this is my third BHW barrel. Even with my limited skills these produce extremely tight groups. Looking forward to putting the rifle together soon.

100% satisfied
I have used this barrel on 5 builds. After following proper break-in procedures, I am able to pull off consistent .78" average groups @100m prone supported, through quality optics, all day long. Even cold bore is outstanding. Using a variety of ammunition, from 110gr to 150gr super-sonic ammo, including freedom munitions remanufactured 150gr Hornady rounds. The 1:8.5 twist poly is superb for vast grain weight variation stability. This is a serious piece of steel and well worth the extra change.

High Quality Barrel
went together no problems, wow it shoots good 2" group 100 yards. loads were 125gr Sierras over 18 grains of Lil' gun in LC Brass, there were my buddy's hand loads. little work I know I can improve the accuracy. Oh the Barrel cleans really easy too!!!

Very Accurate
I bought this barrel to build my first 300AAC. Its very accurate and easier to clean due to the polygonal rifling. More info on suppression fire would be nice. Found out the hard way (many trial and error) that you must shoot super sonic if you are not using a suppressor. Other than that bit of info on the 300AAC not the barrel manufacturer would be great. Over all I am happy with the purchase and my build. Most parts came from this site.
