I purchased two of the 20 round and one 10 round for a new AR build in 7.62x39. I ran 100 rounds through each magazine, using Monarch lacquer-coated and Golden Bear and MFS ammo, all steel coated and the magazines all performed 100%. They actually engage in the lower easier than my 5.56 ones from other manufacturers do.

The mag that came with my 7.62 AR 15 was these ASC mag and works good. So I ordered 5 of these even though I seen and heard alot of negative reviews. Only one is working right and the other 4 are going to be dremeled just to work right. Don't know if that'll fix the issue but better than throwing them in the trash.

These are great mags. I own the 20 & 30rd versions & they're fantastic & as always require the typical "hammer mod" when they're brand new from the factory along the spine to make the spring function properly. If you don't know what this is Google it, it's the best way to make an AR 7.62x39 mag work flawlessly.

I personally wish they would go on some awesome sale in a 10 pack (hint) in either 20 or 30rd. That would be great.

One mag works perfectly. The other.... doesn't work at all. Rounds tip. Follower sticks. Rounds catch on the lip.

You might get a good one, might not.
