Military Surplus Grade "A" .30 Caliber Ammunition Can
Original Military Surplus ammo cans are used extensively in the field to transport ammunition to the troops. These cans are retired from duty in the field and are ideal for safely & conveniently storing ammunition. These surplus ammo cans are gasketed forming an airtight & watertight seal from the elements. Perfect for portable storage with a flat-folding carry handle on the lid, also makes these cans stackable. These cans are built for punishment, they have many years of use left in them and are ready for their second tour of duty.
These grade "A" ammo cans feature a removable lid with a rubber gasket seal, flat folding handle for carrying, lever-lock lid that is lockable, and they are constructed of heavy gauge steel. Military markings on the outside; load data and markings will vary. May need to be cleaned. Grade "A" (used in "good" condition, may have a light scratch, dent, rust, etc.)

Ammo Cans
I ordered (2) of the 50 caliber ammo cans and (2) of the 30 caliber cans. 1 of the 30 caliber was missing a a single hinge pin but that did not affect the opening and closing of the lid. Overall, I am very pleased with the quality of the ammo cans.

The ammo cans I received were in very nice condition, I will buy more. I was a little worried not being able to select the best ones myself as I do at gun shows, but they sent me some really nice ammo cans that were basically new in my opinion! Well done!

Fair Price, Fair Condition, Overall Fair Value
Too bad no option to post pictures of what you get... I ordered 8 cans. They were packed well and tight so no damages in shipping. Of the 8, 7 have rust in the corners, or hard to get at crevices. I've found no dents, or other damages to cans to hinder their 3-S ability, shut, stack, and stay water-tight. I would rate the cans 1 at A, 2 at A-, and 5 at B+. Shipping will cost you a chunk of change if you buy a few or too many, 4 to 8 the charges are fair. Even after cost+shipping I saved $4.12 per can over what I'd have paid at local Army surplus store. Highly recommend you stick to the grade A they sell, with a brief wipe down, and a camo paint go over on the exterior these cans are ready for a new life.

Jackpot!
I did quite a bit of shopping for ammo cans locally and online. Locally the cans I saw "needed work", (which isn't a deal-breaker necessarily) but many needed a LOT of work and cost a lot too. These cans on Surplusammo's site seemed too good to be true. Inexpensive and excellent condition? Now I can state that for a fact. Excellent price and excellent condition. I ordered four. They arrived with no dents, scratches, rust; they weren't even dirty! At the price, even with shipping, I came out way ahead. Product as promised and prompt delivery. I would definitely recommend this supplier to friends and will be back myself in the future.
