AK47 Magazine, Croatian BHO, Steel 7.62x39 - 10 Round NEW, VCI Packaged
These BRAND NEW soviet-style/COMBLOC magazines are an amazing find for your AK. Feed your AK, AKM, RPK, Saiga, VEPR, Arsenal SAM7, SLR-107, Yugo, PKMS, M92 PAP, M70, WASR, SAR-1, Draco, Norinco, Polytech etc. right with one of these Croatian magazines. These mags are original eastern European mil-spec, and are almost identical in construction and design to the old surplus Yugoslavian AK47 magazines. We have compared these to a personal stash of old, very used Yugo BHO AK 30's and the stamping pattern, design and manufacture is identical (save some of the exact width of the stamping lines). These are just obviously brand new production from the same process if not the same machines/factories.
Bolt Hold Open ("BHO"): These blued steel magazines have a follower that holds the bolt open after the last round is fired, just like the Yugoslavian manufactured bolt hold open magazines. If you are familiar with the old Yugo BHO's and know AK's well enough, most every AK (of original design) is NOT designed with an internal bolt hold open mechanism. These mags have a raised follower design that catches the bolt after the last round, holding the bolt open WITH the mag still in place in the receiver. ONCE THE MAG IS REMOVED THE ACTION SLAMS CLOSED.
STORAGE: These magazines are packaged in VCI material, so you can store them for a rainy day if you need to. All magazines will have an oily coating on them, inside the VCI package (not sticky, easily wiped away). VCI Packaging is designed for long-term storage without degradation of the metal components within. Once the package is opened, anti-corrosion and waterproofing are no longer guaranteed.

Croatian AK mags
The mags are very nice. I ordered 2 of them but only 1 fit and the other doesn’t. I checked on youtube and there are videos showing why and there is just a little bit of metal that has to be sanded away on the back of the mag to make it fit. It is very easy to do and it fits in perfectly now. I do like them and they seem very steady. I have the 10 round mags because I live in communist New York but these mags are very nice and i am very happy with them. I have a Zastava NPAP M70

ak47 10 round mags
Ordered 2 10 round magazines and had to file and use a dremel to make them fit and function like they were suppose too. It took about 10 minutes of work on each one.

Work flawlessly, but...
They work flawlessly but are heavy for their size. The bolt hold open is a great feature for any AK user. A must have if you live in California.

Great magazines once you file them down
Out of the 7 or 8 magazines that I purchased, only 1 was able to be seated into the receiver without modification. The rest needed to be filed down. This will probably vary depending on what make or model your AK is. It's a relatively quick job that takes around 10 minutes per mag to complete. Tip: use a sharpie marker (I used a silver color so it's easier to see) to coat the top of the magazine and try to insert it into the receiver. Don't force it too much. The sharpie marks you made on your magazine should show wear once you remove it. Any spot with wear on it are spots that need to be filed down.
