The Aero Precision AR15 Flip-Up Sight Set includes the AR15 Front Flip-Up Sight and the AR15 Rear Flip-Up Sight, both made with high-quality aluminum. Whether using as your main sights or as back-up sights for another optic, you can count on the accuracy and durability this set offers. They are designed specifically for the AR15/M16 platform but will fit most 1913 Picatinny Rail sections.

Satisfied with AP flip ups.
So far I am completely satisfied with my AeroPrecision flip up sights. Some people would want a lock service in upright position but I am of the opinion these (zero) will be safer with the give of the unlocked, firm spring tension ready position. I feel these are just as good as the other brands that come on top of some of the highest priced AR platform firearms. I put mine on a .308 build and were in the black strait out of the box. When collapsed the rear sight is about .8" off of the flat top surface so that may cause interference with some scopes but not a problem for me yet. I do plan to purchase another set for another project.

areo flip up sights
These are good sights for the money. All aluminum with push button release, well machined and finished. There are several improvements that could make the product better. The main issue is that when folded the sights are not that low. I am using an areo scope mount with a Burris scope and the rear sight is in contact with the scope when folded which is not ideal. The sights are also fairly wide and squared off which makes them a little bulky. If the sides were contoured the fit and look would be improved. The last thing is the push button release is on one side only , the right, so you can not deploy and be fire ready. Over all the sights are high quality for the money. If you need low profile to clear a scope the "mini" sights might be a better choice.

Solid construction. Lightweight. Low Profile
Excellent construction. Excellent materials. Site post and your apertures are centered and well aligned with the longitudinal axis of the rifle barrel, hand guards, and upper receiver. Solid lock up. Prompt extension when release button is pushed. Low profile. Would give it five stars if the inscribed logo were smaller or of a subdued color. Four stars given for fit, function, and quality.
