This is original Federal Lake City manufactured ammo, XM855 ball cartridge, with a steel penetrator and a lead core and copper jacket. The XM855 features a cannelure and boat-tail design and the primer and case is sealed for long term storage and moisture protection. This load has the telltale green painted tip, is Lake City production and passed the magnet test (attracted to magnet).
