Lake City 5.56 62 Grain Ball (FMJ) M855 Steel Penetrator - 50 Rounds
This is 5.56 Lake City M855 62 grain Penetrator Ammo. This is original Lake City manufactured ammo, M855 ball cartridge, with a steel penetrator and a lead core. The M855 features a cannelure and boat-tail design and the primer and case is sealed for long term storage and moisture protection.
This load does not have the telltale green painted tip, but this is Lake City (US Military Munitions factory) production, passed the magnet test (attracted to magnet) and exact same bullet profile as the green painted Lake City XM855 we've been selling for years. Also those checked head stamps are LC 19 with the NATO-cross.

Firearm used is a Colt mfg. AR15 A4 with a 20 " barrel, with 1 in 7 twist, and an ACOG T31 scope. Groups are consistent at 100 yards. BEST AMMO I've used so far. Hope to get more.
