Federal's best defensive ammo, bar none!!!
This ammo is among the best I have ever used. Federal ammo is a name you can trust for decent accuracy and awesome reliability. The HST is no exception, and maybe the bar for both. All you have to do is review many youtube ballistic tests to realize this is among the top performers. It is very similar bullet expansion as the Winchester Black Talon, but this bullet expands everytime, while the Talons often plug in denim clothing. In 45 ACP, this is my favorite 230 gr defensive load while MagTech's Gaurdian Gold is my favorite 185gr +P. I also carry the XtremeDefenders by Underwood - you can't go wrong!
