308 MAGTECH 168 GRAIN AMMO
I USED HORNADY AMMO AND THE MAGTECH AMMO . MY GROUPS AT 100 AND 200 YARDS WERE BOTH EXCELLENT.. I FIND MAGTECH AMMO EXCELLENT IN EVERY CATEGORY EXCEPT THE COST IS 40% LESS . I LIKE BOTH AMMO EQUALLY.

Best bang for your buck
You can't beat this ammo for the price that they offer it here on Surplus. Top quality reliable and deadly accurate only thing that I use for my 308.

OK match ammo
I put together a new 308 rifle off a rem 700 with a 20" barrel and a 1:10 twist. The thing is a tack driver with 175gr Federal match ammo at about 1/2MOA with the shooter doing their job.
In the same session this stuff was used and it yielded 1.0 MOA at best.
It was consistently 1.25-1.5moa ammo. So with all other things being equal (same shooter, rifle, conditions, etc...) it did not shoot as well as the Fed match ammo.
The brass however I think is better than FC for reloading. On my test loads I got better results from the CBC brass. Additionally the CBC brass held up better to the hot loads and remained easy to extract when the FC brass was difficult to extract with comparable speeds and powder charges.
