Product Description
Armscor .30 Caliber (.308/30.06) 147 Grain Full Metal Jacket-Boat Tail Bullets - 1000 Count
These bullets are new production and of excellent quality.
Armscor has been producing top quality components and ammunition and distributing them all over the world. These bullets are no exception to their expectations of quality products at an affordable price. Made with lead cores and copper jackets (unlike some "M80" projectiles ), shooters will no doubt appreciate the money they'll save and fun they'll have while plinking at the range or hunting varmints.
- 1,000 pieces Copper Jacketed Lead Core Bullets (reloading projectiles)
- Bullet Weight: 147 Grain
- Bullet Style: Full Metal Jacket - Boat Tail (FMJ-BT) with Cannelure
- Bullet Construction: Copper Jacket, Lead Core
- NEW Production (NOT pulled bullets)
- WILL NOT ATTRACT A MAGNET (these are NOT M80)
THIS IS NOT LOADED AMMUNITION! This is the most important paragraph in this ad. You are buying just the projectiles with which to reload in your brass. If you purchase these bullets by mistake and would like to return them, we will do so gladly but will charge you a 20% restocking fee. You will also have to pay shipping back to us. Thanks and I hope this ends some of the confusion.

Excellent product @ the price point.
These shoot great. Weigh consistently +/- approx 1.5-1.6 grains (for this type of bullet). Ogive variances can play hell with your seating depth. This can be an issue when trimming to 2.005" (SAAMI Spec) and seating to mag length (2.81-2"+) as the cannelure's placement can vary. If the cannelure happens to land anywhere within the case mouth, far less neck tension is available to keep the projectile in place while crimping. Bullets will not set back in the case past the cannelure while cycling (I was brave) in an AR10/ SR25 type action, however bullets easily (by hand!) were pushed back to the front of the cannelure; which is obviously worrisome. I feel that some inconsistencies in velocities during chronographing were likely attributed to this happening to only SOME rounds where ogive inconsistencies caused this phenomenon.
