Great for stocking up!
Great ammo for a day at the range. 500 loose rounds come packaged in a cardboard box. 500 rounds just about fills a .30 caliber ammo can. Ammo is clean, bright, and shoots extremely well. Very consistent. Might as well be new ammo! Clean shooting, as well. Surplus Ammo beats others with lower prices when compared to Cabela's or other big name retailers. Reloadable brass casings.

The ammo is factory reloaded and is shooting just fine for me. It looks good and clean with only a very few tiny dings in the brass that will bother nothing. Money well spent for me.

good for target practice
The first few 500 rnd boxes i bought a few months ago were great. Price was right, fed into the chamber good not any problems in my custom built ar-15. This last box however I've had multiple issues with, at least 5-7 rounds out of every 30 seem to misfire or when feeding get jammed, a few of the tips seemed to be miss-seated or crooked. One fed into the chamber and the fmj tip jammed back into the shell, not sure exactly how this happened. Other then this last box i bought, this ammo has been great for the price.
