Product Description
Remington High Performance Ammunition .223 Rem 55 Grain Pointed Soft Point R223R1 - 20 Rounds
Pointed-Soft-Point (PSP) combines the expansion of a traditional soft point projectile with the longer range capability of standard spitzer-shaped (pointed) projectile. The pointed-soft-point projectile provides deeper penetration than hollow point or ballistic-tipped projectiles which is why they are a classic light hunting/varminting round. And of course, pointed-soft-points are an excellent defensive round.
Reliable, affordable loads for the high-volume shooter. Whether for practice, target shooting, training or for defensive needs, Remington ammunition is a superb choice for high volume shooting and hunting. This ammunition is new production, non-corrosive and in reloadable brass .223 cases.

Bang for buck
Best SP bang for your buck. There may be others that group better but they also cost more. A great budget SP bullet. I use these exclusively when hunting whitetails with a 22-250, 223, or 243 (Usually a 243, 223 is reserved for varmints). If grouping is very important try Hornady Steel Match HP 55 grain for varmints.
