Per ME: CCI "Suppressor" ammo is CCI's heavy bullet (45 grain hollow points vs. standard 40gr in their LRN, and 32-36 grains in their other hollow points) and is the industry standard for the most reliable, clean and consistent 22lr Defensive/Varmint ammo. This round can be used to break in your new 22lr auto-loading firearm or any 22lr firearm action or better yet, used against most any varmint you'd use a 22LR round on, or even in many modern 22LR pistols & revolvers as a possible defensive round.
Modern auto-loaders can choke on subsonic loads like older designs using just 40gr bullets loaded under 1,000 fps, but like the CCI #957 Suppressor 45gr. Lead Hollow Point ammo, these will work the action of modern semi-autos like the Ruger LCR-II, SR22, MkIV's, S&W M&Pcompacts as well as all of our older semi-autos like old S&W 2214/422, Beretta 87's, 70, 71 etc., all of our Ruger MKII's, MKIII's and of course each of those generations in the 22/45 versions. We've also put these through a few Ruger 10/22's, my TacSol built 10/22 X-Ring and finally through several of our various CZ 452's, 455, 457's and other bolt actions. It's started off the 2025 varmint season quite well so far.
